Sagra di Tavo
Except for rare exceptions, the Sagra di Tavo takes place every year in September. In 2022, the festival took place from Friday 16th to Tuesday 20th September in Via Chiesa, in the eponymous hamlet of the municipality.
A recommended event for food lovers eager to discover the authentic flavors of Veneto cuisine, the festival features large dining areas where delicious sea and land specialties will be served, making your mouth water: from bigoli and gnocchi with tomato sauce and duck ragù to exquisite spiced roast chickens, succulent rib steaks, chops and sausages with fried potatoes and grilled polenta slices, to pair with local wines and cold pints of beer, ideal for relieving the heat of late summer.
The sea dishes include delicious fried fish, swordfish gnocchi and baccalà alla vicentina. In addition to showcasing local specialties, the menu includes tasty pizzas with rich toppings.
During the festive evenings you can let loose to the irresistible rhythms of African, Latin American and country sounds, but there will also be romantic orchestras for dancing under the stars.
The program includes a large amusement park with adrenaline-pumping rides bright with electric lights: from bumper cars and flying cages to dizzying inflatable slides, while motor enthusiasts can attend gatherings of vintage hot-bulb tractors.

The Certosa di Vigodarzere
Located at Via Certosa, 2, the Certosa di Vigodarzere is one of the most significant historical and spiritual landmarks of the upper Padova area.
The Renaissance monastery is surrounded by the serene rural landscape marked by golden cornfields crossed by a wide bend of the Brenta, along whose banks grow lush willows, poplars, plane trees, ash trees, elms, black locusts and alders.
Designed by Andrea Moroni and Andrea da Valle, the architectural complex of the Carthusian monks is distinguished by a series of splendid cloisters punctuated by white cross vaults framing pleasant tree-lined gardens. Surrounded by a perimeter wall crowned by elegant swallowtail battlements, the church and the cells that housed the hermits preserve invaluable fragments of sixteenth-century frescoes.
The Parco del Brenta
To access the nature trail, you can leave your car in the parking lot at Parco Pelaz in Via Pio XII. Head southeast along Via Pio XII for about 100 meters, then turn right into Via Giovanni Paolo II. At the intersection, turn left into Via S. Pio X. After 130 meters, turn right to reach Via Lungargine Brenta.
The cycle-pedestrian path offers spectacular panoramic views of the cold winding river originating from the lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico, in Trentino-Alto Adige.
If you are wondering what to do in Vigodarzere and want to immerse yourself in an oasis of pristine peace away from concrete, smog and traffic noise, the Parco del Brenta is a charming river park whose clear waters irrigate vast cultivated fields bordered by lush hedges of ash, oak, weeping willow, acacia, field maple, linden and hornbeam.
