Following the embankment in a southeast direction, you will find the sand track on your right (45.44089703183119, 11.908675167270289). An ideal location for cross bike enthusiasts, the park features steep slopes, hairpin turns, narrow lanes interrupted by tree trunks and wooden ramps to allow bikers to do jumps and pirouettes. If you are excited by adrenaline sports and want to perform breathtaking stunts, the sand track is definitely a recommended destination!
However, it is advisable to practice in the company of other expert bikers and always pay the utmost attention since the “BMX” (Bicycle Motocross) is a fun activity… but quite dangerous! If you love this sport, you might also be interested in the Bike Tribe MTB Trail, a fascinating and dynamic cross bike route located in Salgareda, in the province of Treviso.
If you are wondering what to do in Cadoneghe, the winding route follows the serpentine course of the river originating from the icy waters of Levico and Caldonazzo and offers enchanting views of the lush vegetation of silver willows, poplars, black locusts, elms, ash trees, maples, and alders that grow luxuriantly along its banks.
Chiesa di Sant'Andrea Apostolo
Located in Via G. Garibaldi, 2, the Church of Sant’Andrea Apostolo is one of the most significant spiritual and cultural landmarks of the municipality. The majestic place of worship is characterized by a gabled facade vertically divided by four Ionic pilasters resting on high bases.
Embellished by elegant panels, the place of worship is accessible through a massive wooden portal surmounted by a curved tympanum. Above the pilasters rest the architrave, frieze, and pediment crowned by sculptures of three saints.
Bright and luminous, the single nave of the church houses a splendid marble altar adorned with statues of two angels, above which stand a spectacular crucifix and an elaborate golden canopy.
