Once you reach Porto Levante, keep right and follow Via delle Valli for 9 km, entering the breathtaking landscape of the Po Delta marked by vast marshy areas, wet meadows and lush riparian forests. Along the way you can admire the Bagliona pumping station, a fascinating example of industrial engineering and architecture.
Among the bristly fronds of lush tamarisks, the majestic rural building complex called casone San Leonardo can be seen.
After exactly 9 km (45.00466979926403, 12.394539092904758) keep right and immerse yourself again in the sunny Polesine countryside dotted with rustic farmhouses. After about 300 meters keep left and proceed for 9.1 km following the grassy banks of the Po di Maistra.
At the intersection with provincial road 37 turn right and proceed for 11.5 km between golden wheat fields and endless expanses of corn lapped by the winding course of the Po, from whose waters emerge suggestive river islands, until you reach Villa Carrer, a jewel of 16th-century architecture. At the intersection cross the road and leave the facade of the church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo to your right, then continue west on Via Contarini for 900 meters, then turn right onto Corso Risorgimento.
After crossing the Collettore Padano Polesano, shaded by long rows of birches and cypress poplars, continue on Corso Risorgimento for 1 km alongside Piazza Repubblica adorned with cedars, maritime pines, holm oaks and many other tall trees. After about 600 meters you will find on your right the Parish of Santa Maria Madre della Chiesa di Scalon. Facing Piazza Alcide de Gasperi, the exposed brick place of worship is distinguished by a facade ending in an elegant curved arch.
At the roundabout take the first exit and follow provincial road 35 for 1 km.
