Where is San Giorgio delle Pertiche?
The municipality of San Giorgio delle Pertiche borders to the north with Santa Giustina in Colle, to the north-east with Camposampiero, to the north-west with Campo San Martino, to the south with Vigodarzere, to the east with Borgoricco and Campodarsego, to the west with Campo San Martino and Curtarolo.
The church of San Giorgio Martire and the bell tower
Set in the historic heart of San Giorgio, the place of worship features a facade with projecting gables, punctuated in the center by two pairs of Ionic semi-columns resting on high bases.
Crowned by a triangular dentiled pediment, the church is accessible through three wooden portals, the central one, larger in size, surmounted by a broken curved tympanum.
Separated by large round arches, the three bright naves house elaborate altars in polychrome marbles, splendid paintings by Palma il Giovane and a refined golden baldachin suspended above the main altar.
Towering beside the church stands the mighty medieval tower, whose imposing red brick mass contrasts strikingly with the white of the neoclassical church.
Almost forty meters high, the imposing structure is softened by pilasters and panels connected by pairs of hanging arches. At the top of the tower, two large round-arched single-lancet windows open on each side.
The fair of Arsego
The ancient centuries-old fair takes place every year on the third Sunday of October. On the occasion of the event, the pleasant rural village comes alive with livestock exhibitions, open-air markets of agricultural and artisanal products, and dining areas where you can savor delicious homemade dishes from the area.

In 2022 the popular event took place from Friday, September 30 to Tuesday, October 4 at the parish church, at Via Canonica, 3.
To the solemnity of the liturgical functions in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, the traditional celebration combines the carefree and dynamic atmosphere of a lively rural fair featuring local gastronomic specialties, live music, exhibitions of cars, bicycles, and historic agricultural machinery. The event program also includes parades of perfectly restored vintage carriages and outdoor walks to discover the enchanting Oasi Rossato.
