The municipality of Curtarolo borders to the north with Campo San Martino, to the east and northeast with San Giorgio delle Pertiche, to the southeast with Vigodarzere, to the southwest with Limena, to the west with Piazzola sul Brenta.
Sagra della Madonna del Carmine
According to the liturgical calendar, the day dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine is July 16, but the celebration in her honor also takes place in the days before and after this date.
The 2022 edition took place from Friday 15 to Tuesday 19 July. On the occasion of the ancient popular tradition, at the church of Santa Giuliana in Curtarolo, large and comfortable tent structures will be set up where you can savor grilled chops, ribs and sausages with fried potatoes and slices of grilled polenta, appetizing fried fish to enjoy with cold mugs of beer and local wines, as well as delicious homemade cakes that will make your mouth water.
In addition to the classic charity raffle, the program includes concerts by tribute bands to relive timeless hits of Italian and international rock.
If you are wondering what to do in Curtarolo and want to spend the beautiful season in the serene rural setting of a pleasant little village in the upper Padua area, with live music, mouth-watering culinary specialties and breathtaking fireworks, participating in the ancient feast of the Madonna del Carmine is an event more than recommended!

Ostiglia Ciclabile
Southeast of the neoclassical church of Santa Giuliana, at Via Monte Pasubio, 3, you will find the parking and access to the cycle tour itinerary that for 118 km runs along the military railway line, now abandoned, which connected the cities of Treviso and Ostiglia.
The peaceful nature trail offers enchanting views of the Curtarolo countryside, marked by cornfields irrigated by the winding course of the Brenta, whose clear waters lap at lush hedges of willows, elms, alders, acacias, poplars, field maples, ash trees and oaks.
The island of Checheti
One of the most photogenic spots in the municipality, the charming river islet emerges from the waters of the Brenta a short distance from the sanctuary of the Madonna di Tessara. To approach the splendid natural site, you can leave your car in Piazza Martiri. Proceed east along Via Vittorio Veneto for 850 meters, then take the dirt path on your right that goes into the thick forest vegetation of poplars, robinias and willows that grow lush along the bends of the river originating from the cold springs of Caldonazzo and Levico in Trentino-Alto Adige.
Sagra della Salute
In 2022 the event took place from Thursday 18 to Tuesday 23 August in the hamlet of Poncia, at the oratory of the Madonna della Salute on Via Argine di Villabozza, 50.
If you are wondering what to do in Curtarolo, the feast combines the austere liturgical ceremonies in honor of the Madonna della Salute with the carefree and jovial atmosphere of a traditional fair that features exquisite seafood and land dishes, dance evenings and relaxing walks to discover the radiant Curtarolo countryside crossed by deep and clear canals.
The Ansa del Brenta park
To reach the large wooded park you can leave your car in the parking lot of the Palazzina green area at Via Don Giovanni Bosco, 37/A. Alternatively, you can park in Piazza Generale Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa, about 400 meters away.
Equipped for barbecues, the large grassy area is an ideal place to rest in the shade of the dense canopies of linden, ash and privet or to walk along the winding paths that run along the crystalline bends of the Brenta.
