The Celeseo Festival takes place every spring in the eponymous hamlet of the pleasant municipality located less than 15 km from the historic center of Padua.
The 2023 edition took place from Friday 21 to Tuesday 25 April and from Friday 28 April to Monday 1 May.

The San Michele Festival
The San Michele Festival is held every year between September and October at the church of San Michele Arcangelo in Piazza 4 Novembre, 40. The 2022 edition took place from Saturday 24 September to Sunday 2 October 2022.
An excellent opportunity for food lovers who appreciate the authentic aromas of Veneto cuisine, the celebration features large marquee structures where you can savor exquisite seafood and meat dishes: spaghetti with seafood, baccalà alla vicentina (Venetian-style cod), appetizing fried fish, mixed grills, first-rate risottos, bigoli in sauce (pasta with anchovy sauce) and grilled spatchcock served with fried potatoes and slices of grilled polenta to enjoy with glasses of wine and cold pints of beer.
For those with a taste for horse meat, there will be no shortage of home-style dishes such as horse stew, whose aroma spreads through the large dining areas filled with hungry diners, and the prized straeca. One of the most representative dishes of the Padua area, straeca is a cut of meat obtained from the diaphragm of the horse and is distinguished by its tender texture, intense red color and delicate flavor.
In addition to highlighting local specialties, the menu offers fragrant pizzas, a cornerstone recipe of Neapolitan identity, as well as Bavarian specialties such as dumplings served with sauerkraut, frankfurters and sausages.

The church of San Michele Arcangelo
One of the most significant spiritual landmarks of the municipality, the church of San Michele Arcangelo is characterized by a majestic façade horizontally divided into three sections.
The central part of the front is in turn divided into three by four Ionic pilasters resting on high bases. Surmounted by an elegant broken curvilinear tympanum, the massive wooden portal is flanked by statues of Saints Peter and Paul.
The white place of worship of millenary origin houses an invaluable pictorial work by Giovanni Antonio Canal depicting the Archangel Michael, a precious baptismal font and spectacular altars in polychrome marbles, one of which is embellished by an altarpiece portraying the Coronation of Mary.
