Where is Saccolongo?
The municipality of Saccolongo borders to the north with Mestrino, to the south with Teolo, to the southeast with Selvazzano, to the southwest with Cervarese Santa Croce, to the east with Rubano and Selvazzano, to the west with Mestrino and Veggiano.
The beer festival
Except for rare exceptions, the beer festival is held every year in the month of June. The 2023 edition is scheduled from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 June at the parish of Creola in Via Molini, 43. The historic center will be enlivened during the warm early summer evenings by concerts of tribute bands that will make you relive timeless successes of Italian and international rock music.

The Assunta festival
The Assunta festival takes place every year in mid-August. In 2022 the traditional event took place from Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 August at the parish church in Via Pio XII, 18.
To the solemn ceremonies dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, the festival combines the carefree and jovial atmosphere of a bygone fair with live music and delicious homemade specialties. In the spacious and comfortable dining areas you can taste exquisite dishes including chops, ribs and sizzling grilled sausages served with french fries and slices of steaming polenta.

The fair of San Michele
According to the liturgical calendar, the day dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel is September 29 and the festivities in his honor also extend into the evenings preceding this date.
An occasion for spiritual reflection, socializing and fun, the festival enhances the cultural roots of the Saccolongo community both through heartfelt liturgical functions in honor of the patron saint at the church of San Pietro Apostolo in Via Molini, 43, and through tastings of delicious traditional dishes, including succulent mixed grills, bigoli with duck ragù, beef slices, fried fish and unlimited arrosticini, tasty lamb skewers to be paired with local wines and cold mugs of beer.

The winding itinerary delves into the quiet rural landscape crossed by the meandering course of the Bacchiglione, along whose banks grow lush specimens of willows, poplars, acacias, elms, ash trees and alders.
