Where Nogara is located: it borders Isola della Scala to the north, Gazzo Veronese to the south, Salizzole and Sanguinetto to the east, and Erbè and Sorgà to the west.
Palazzo Maggi
Located at Via G. Ferrarini, 1, the current home of the municipal library is a splendid frescoed palace dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The rectangular building is accessible through an airy portico with two lowered arches, above which stands a lovely loggia with four round arches.
Villa Marogna
Located at Via Palmino Sterzi 133, the eastern entrance of the private residence consists of a segmental arch decorated with rustication, with the seigniorial coat of arms visible in the keystone. The portal is framed by two pilasters above which rises a broken curved pediment. The structure is topped by an upper body flanked by two arched slopes and refined by four pinnacles.
Harmoniously set in a lush quadrangular courtyard, the Renaissance palace unfolds over two levels plus a mezzanine and is crowned by elegant chimneys topped with pinnacles. One of the villa’s most characteristic architectural features is the southern entrance, made up of three segmental arches supported by columns.

La chiesa di San Pietro Apostolo
Located in Via Caselle, the church of San Pietro Apostolo stands out for a gabled façade adorned with cedars, cypresses, palms and oleanders. Facing west, the front is unfinished except for the white base and the dentilled triangular pediment. The tympanum is softened by vegetal garlands flanking an oval opening, in the center of which stands a vase with carved floral ornaments. The rest of the façade is in exposed brick.
On either side of the wooden portal rise two semi-columns, without capitals, above which stand the architrave, frieze and cornice. The entablature was meant to be topped by a large round arch.
Lit by large semicircular windows, the church’s three naves are marked by massive Corinthian columns. Surmounted by a large barrel vault, the central nave leads to the presbytery, ending in a hemispherical covering also supported by Corinthian columns.
Embedded in the south wall of the church, the square-based bell tower is refined by a triple-light window with pointed arches on each side of the belfry. Completing the vertical development of the structure are the octagonal drum, featuring a single lancet opening on each side, and the soaring metal spire topped by a cross.
