Where is the municipality of Masi located?

The Sant’Eurosia festival
The liturgical calendar celebrates Sant’Eurosia on 25 June, and the event in her honor, in the municipality of Masi, also takes place in the days leading up to this date. The 2023 edition of the village festival took place from Friday 7 to Tuesday 11 July in Piazza Libertà.
After the holy mass and procession dedicated to Sant’Eurosia, the town center comes alive with evocative acrobatic dance performances, concerts under the stars, lively markets, and fashion shows.
A recommended event for food lovers, this much-anticipated celebration features large dining areas where you can savor delicious dishes that highlight local produce, from exquisite gourmet risottos to tempting grilled meat courses served with French fries, slices of polenta grilled on the griddle, and cold mugs of beer—nothing better to quench your thirst and ease the summer heat.

Sapori d’autunno
In 2022, the Sapori d’autunno event took place on Sunday 13 November in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII.
The event features numerous exhibitors offering appetizing, indulgent dishes that celebrate the aromas and scents of autumn, from sandwiches with steaming porchetta, meat skewers, sizzling sausages on the grill, polenta and stew, to chestnuts cooked in large perforated pans to enjoy with mulled wine. There will also be local cheeses and homemade sweets to make your mouth water.
If you are wondering what to do in Masi, this pleasant initiative includes livestock exhibitions, delicious traditional cuisine, craft and art workshops as well as fun activities for children, a golden opportunity to enjoy the autumn season carefree with the whole family.

The church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo
Located in Via Este, the parish church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo is harmoniously set in the radiant rural landscape of the municipality of Masi, marked by flourishing cornfields and crossed by the Adige River.
The imposing red-brick mass of the place of worship stands out for a gabled façade punctuated at the center by three round arches. The three arches define a loggia in the upper part of the front.
Above the massive wooden portal opens a large single-light window. In the side sections, two rectangular white stone plaques with bas-relief decorations stand out.
Surmounted by a pristine barrel vault, the spacious single nave of the church is lit by elegant single-light windows. The church interiors are softened by refined altars in polychrome marble, set in the side niches, and by the majestic main altar, behind which stands a fascinating red curtain.
Beside the church, two bells are placed on a concrete base topped by a metal cover.
One of the most precious works housed in the church of San Bartolomeo is a 16th-century painting that depicts San Bartolomeo seated on a throne, in a raised position above San Pietro and San Giovanni Battista.
