Where is Borgo Veneto?

The result of the collaboration between the Italian flag-wavers federation and the musicians and flag-wavers group of Borgo Veneto, the San Martino Trophy will see athletes perform in singles, pairs, and small teams. Recognizable by their badges and bright traditional costumes, the flag-wavers will demonstrate their skill through passionate choreographies with throws, rotations, and synchronized acrobatic figures.

Villa Vallaresso Pisani
Located at Via Roma, 28, the current municipal seat of Borgo Veneto is nestled in the historic heart of the hamlet of Saletto (not to be confused with Saletto di Breda di Piave).
Dating back to the 17th century, the stately residence is laid out on two levels topped by an attic floor. Adorned with a rusticated coating, the ground floor is accessible through an elegant door surmounted by a lunette window.
On the main floor, in line with the entrance portal, there is an arched French window overlooking a balcony with a curved metal balustrade. On the sides of the balcony, six rectangular windows open, crowned by triangular pediments.
Between the main floor and the mezzanine, in a median position, three rectangular windows open, framed by four pilasters. Resting on a cornice supported by corbels, the structure is crowned by a dentilled triangular pediment that projects from the roof slope.
Villa Fava del Pavaglione
Located at Via Pasquale Longo, 12, Villa Fava, known as del Pavaglione, is a charming noble residence from the second half of the 18th century, pleasantly set in the pleasant rural landscape of Megliadino San Fidenzio.
The building rises on two floors, covered with dark pebbles, topped by a mezzanine. In the center of the structure, a raised body rises, embellished by a projecting balcony and completed by a triangular pediment.
Framed by a garden dotted with Atlas cedars, cypress poplars, maples, and willows, the facade is ennobled by two niches containing two white statues.
Of notable interest are the charming place of worship built to the left of the villa, whose bell tower is crowned by a replica of the Eiffel Tower, and a stone turret flanked by a crenellated wall in medieval style.
The church of San Silvestro
Built between the 9th and 10th centuries, the church of San Silvestro is one of the oldest cultural and spiritual landmarks of the Bassa Padovana.
The small Romanesque church is characterized by a double-pitched roof, which incorporates the exposed brick bell tower culminating in a square-based spire.
Topped by a wooden truss ceiling, the single nave of the place of worship is embellished by splendid 15th-century frescoes.
