The autumn fair of Stienta
The 2023 edition of the Stienta fair took place from Thursday 14 to Tuesday 19 September 2023 in Piazza Giuseppe di Vittorio.

Bike ride in Stienta and Occhiobello
The starting point of the itinerary is Piazza Santo Stefano. Leave behind the facade of the church of Santo Stefano Papa e Martire, cross Piazza Santo Stefano and Piazza Giuseppe di Vittorio, then keep left on the uphill road leading to Via Argine Po.
Once you reach the top of the embankment, keep left and proceed south-east for 3.6 km along Via Argine Po and Via F. Cavallotti. From this perspective, you can embrace with your gaze the extraordinary floodplain landscape of the longest river in Italy, marked by the regular succession of towering poplars surrounded by dense riparian vegetation of willows, elms, field maples, black locusts, English oaks and common reeds.
Just before the overpass of the A13 motorway, turn left into Via Guglielmo Marconi and proceed towards the urban center of Occhiobello. After 140 meters, turn left into Via Girolamo Savonarola, then keep right into Via Roma and proceed for 800 meters, flanking the 18th-century archpriest church of San Lorenzo Diacono e Martire.
At the roundabout, take the second exit and follow Via Gurzone for 350 meters, then turn left and proceed for 450 meters among lush orchards and rural farmhouses. At the intersection, turn right and follow Via Chiavica for 700 meters, following the course of the winding canal that snakes through the fertile Rovigo countryside.
Turn right and proceed for 230 meters along Via Motta between wheat fields and sunny flower meadows, then turn left into Via Folega. Proceed for 1 km along the road that winds along the canal shaded by oaks, cherry trees, poplars and field maples.
Cross the watercourse to your left and continue south for 450 meters, then turn right, cross the pedestrian crossing and follow the cycle path along Via Argine Sabato. Leave the Stienta cemetery framed by oleanders, horse chestnuts, cedars and firs to your left, then turn right into Via Roma and proceed for 500 meters until you return to Piazza Santo Stefano.

Villa Camerini (private property)
Located at Via Argine Po, 2320 – Boaria Gigliola, the charming stately home stands on a radiant centuries-old park dotted with shrubs and flourishing tall trees.
Facing the embankment of the Po, the 17th-century architectural complex consists of a three-story residential core and an elegant porticoed stable marked by wide round arches.
Incorporated into the structure, two majestic towers rise on the north side of the manor house.
