Bike ride in Bagnolo di Po, Castelguglielmo, Canda and Trecenta
The starting point of the itinerary is the parking lot of the Bagnolo di Po town hall in Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, 159. At the exit of the parking lot, turn right and proceed to the roundabout. Take the first exit and cross the pedestrian crossings, then turn left and follow Via Roma and Via Fornazzo north for 2 km, entering the serene rural landscape of Bagnolo, adorned with cornfields and wheat fields that surround pretty farmhouses and ancient rustic buildings.
Just before the bridge over the Tartaro-Canalbianco, turn right and follow Via Magenta for 3.3 km, then cross the canal and turn left onto Via Ricotti. Follow Via Ricotti, Via Roma, and Via Scardovara for 3.5 km, following the winding banks of the canal covered with lush riparian vegetation.
Pass the “Fossa Maestra” bridge on your left, then keep right onto Via Vallalta to reach a pleasant tree-lined park bordered to the south by the artificial watercourse. Follow Via Vallata and Via Vittorio Veneto for 3 km, then cross the river bridge of Trecenta on your left.
At the roundabout, take the second exit. After about 50 meters, turn left onto the road shaded by linden and silver cedar trees. After 40 meters, turn left again, then keep right onto provincial road 24. Follow provincial road 24 for about 1.5 km, then at the intersection (45.02349779817515, 11.461700705552682) turn left onto Via Gorgo Spino.
Proceed for almost 4 km along Via Gorgo Spino and Via Arioste, entering the peaceful Rovigo plain marked by vast cornfields and long rows of willows, black poplars, and cypress poplars that frame elegant rural buildings and old abandoned brick farmhouses almost buried by a thick mantle of ivy.
Once you reach the center of Bagnolo di Po, at the roundabout take the first exit and cross Piazza Guglielmo Marconi until you return to the town hall on your left.

Villa Ariosto, Maragna-Stocchi
Located in Via Arioste, 579 / 222, the Renaissance manor house (private) is harmoniously set in a vast and well-kept garden dotted with many shrubs and lush tall trees.
Dating back to the 16th century, the architectural complex includes the manor house, a rustic annex in exposed brick with wide round arches, and a 17th-century chapel. Noteworthy is the fascinating square-based turret incorporated into the manor house.
