The asparagus festival of Rivoli Veronese
The 2023 edition of the asparagus festival took place from Friday 28 April to Monday 1 May, and from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 May in the parish park.
On the occasion of this traditional event, the historic heart of the village comes alive with spacious tent structures where you can choose from tasty dishes that enhance the Rivoli asparagus.
Cultivated since the 18th century in the fertile Valdadige area, the renowned asparagus finds favorable conditions in the sandy, mineral-rich soil of the Rivoli area to grow lush.
In addition to the exciting greasy pole competition, the event program includes guided excursions to discover the main historical and natural landmarks of the municipality.
If you are wondering what to do in Rivoli Veronese, the asparagus festival is an ideal initiative to spend the spring season in good company with live music, dance evenings, and food and wine excellence in the setting of a charming rural village crossed by the Adige.
