Turn right and proceed for about 70 meters, then turn left into the cycle-pedestrian path that leads to the confluence of the Tartaro-Tione rivers. Follow the cycle path for 3.3 km westwards, then cross the railway line and proceed to the intersection with Via Messedaglia.
Turn right and proceed for 900 meters along Via Messedaglia. At the roundabout, take the first exit. Follow Via Sant’Eurosia for 1 km, then turn right. After 150 meters, turn right into Via Molini. At the next intersection, turn left. Follow Via San Giovanni for 1.7 km, venturing into the serene countryside of Povegliano, marked by vast grassy expanses, lush vineyards, and flourishing hedges of willows and cypress poplars framing elegant farmhouses and centuries-old rustic buildings.
At the roundabout, take the second exit and proceed for 270 meters, then turn left and follow the cycle-pedestrian path that runs alongside the sports field until you reach Via Monte Grappa. Once on Via Monte Grappa, turn right and proceed for about 230 meters, then turn left into Via Algarotte.
Follow Via Algarotte for 140 meters, then cross the bridge and the pedestrian crossings. At this point, take the Risorgive cycle path from the Adige to the Mincio.
The route stretches for a total of 35 km through the municipalities of Valeggio, Villafranca, Povegliano Veronese, Castel d’Azzano, Buttapietra, and San Giovanni Lupatoto. The latter municipality hosts the Parco del Pontoncello, a charming natural oasis, lapped by the Adige, whose lush vegetation provides the ideal habitat for various mammals and bird species.
