After 260 meters, turn left onto Via Palù. Follow the straight asphalt road for 1.7 km, entering the serene countryside panorama of San Martino, cloaked in woods and framed by sunny hills dotted with lush vineyards.
Unless there are no-entry signs, once you reach an old farmhouse (45.43876211287434, 11.113943580922161), keep right onto the dirt path that goes into the lush vegetation of elderberries, mulberries, oaks, ash trees, elms, acacias, hornbeams, poplars, and many other thriving tall plants covered in ivy and veiled in moss. At this point (45.4458464964251, 11.10815040510115), keep left and proceed north along the white path that winds between hackberries, robinias, and tree of heavens until the intersection with Via S. Rocco.
Turn right and proceed uphill for almost 2 km along Via San Rocco, following the slopes of the hill wrapped in vineyards, dotted with silver olive trees, and shaded by thick hedges of firs, field maples, cedars, cypresses, acacias, and poplars.
Once you reach the hamlet of Briccio, turn right onto Via Riva, passing in front of the church of San Briccio, then turn right onto Via della Liberazione. The white nature trail offers breathtaking views of the hilly landscape of Lavagno dotted with picturesque villages. At the top of the hill stands the imposing 19th-century military fortification known as Forte San Briccio.
Follow Via della Liberazione to the fork (45.44711139736401, 11.12244435415839), then keep right. Proceed south along Via Gioiello, Via Baracca, and Via Barco di Sopra. At the roundabout, take the first exit and continue south on Via Montelungo for 1.8 km. At the stop sign, proceed west along Via Feniletto for 260 meters, then turn right onto Via Casa Pozza to return to the starting point.
