Nature and typical products
Perched on the slopes of the eponymous mountain, Borso del Grappa lies in the heart of the Veneto Prealps in a privileged location that combines breathtaking scenic landscapes with a delicate ecosystem.
The territory, favored by a mild climate and significant floral, arboreal, and faunal biodiversity, stands out for the production of excellent agro-food products, appreciated for their high quality and sought after by visitors from all over the region.
Among the numerous delicacies of the area, one must mention grappa, a unique Veneto spirit derived from the distillation of grape skins, producing a highly alcoholic beverage with a dry and decisive taste, yet refined and delicate.
The honey of Monte Grappa is produced on the heights of the Grappa Massif, whose altitude and tree variety represent the ideal environment for beekeeping and the production of tasty honey varieties, such as Acacia, Castagno, and Multiflora di montagna.
The Morlacco, the first Veneto cheese born in the context of the Grappa slopes, produced by the ancient population of the Morlacchi, coming from the historical region of Dalmatia.
The Burlina, a breed of cow raised on the Massif, produced a precious milk that was skimmed as much as possible since butter was the most valuable dairy product at the time.
After about twenty days of aging, the cheese is salted and once ready to eat, one can savor its pleasantly savory and persistent taste.
Nature trail and centuries-old beech
Starting from the agriturismo Malga Campo Croce, take the path on the left towards Forcella Legnarola, until reaching Baita Ca’ Mol.
Continuing for four hundred meters, you reach the “Spezzamonte” sinkhole, then turning left near two alpine shelters, you continue along a dirt road that leads to a large doline. After going around the natural cavity, on the right, you reach a suggestive beech forest where you can admire the famous Fagheron del Cristo, a regal centuries-old beech that towers solemnly in the shady wooded site, an optimal place to rest and contemplate the silent wooded slopes that make Borso del Grappa such a sought-after destination for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers.
The steep slopes of Monte Grappa favor the formation of updrafts, making this pleasant town at the foot of the Prealps a worldwide reference point for paragliding, hang gliding, and other air sports.

Church of San Severo
Located at via Chiesa, 47 in the hamlet of Semonzo, the parish church is dedicated to St. Brigida and San Severo of Ravenna (bishop of the eponymous city lived in the 4th century). The monumental place of worship is recognizable by its white neoclassical double-pitch facade, punctuated by four giant half-columns. The front faces south onto bright wooded hills that stand out on the horizon.
Dating back to the 18th century, the church has a single nave with frescoes depicting the four evangelists, restored to their ancient splendor following careful restoration work. Also noteworthy is the refined wooden choir located at the presbytery.
The church houses a precious 18th-century organ, preserved in excellent condition, made by the famous organ builder Gaetano Callido.
