Where is Villorba?
The municipality of Villorba in the province of Treviso borders to the north with Povegliano, Arcade and Spresiano, to the south with Treviso and Carbonera, to the east with Spresiano and Carbonera, to the west with Povegliano, Ponzano Veneto and Treviso.
Villa Zanetti

The stately complex of Villa Zanetti is located along State Road 13 Pontebbana, an important communication route between Venice and the Austrian border.
Surrounded by lush gardens crossed by white tree-lined avenues, the numerous stately residences that overlook its first stretch, the Terraglio, a historic road axis documented since the 13th century, are invaluable testimonies of the “villa civilization” that since the second half of the 16th century makes the Veneto rural landscape unique of its kind.
The first cartographic evidence of Villa Zanetti, once called Palazzo Trentin, dates back to the 18th century. However, its proximity to the ancient village of Sant’Artemio, where traces of 16th-century buildings are preserved, supports the hypothesis that the barchessa, the first built nucleus of the complex, dates back to the previous century.

Villa Giovannina
Located in Piazza Umberto I, 21, the sumptuous late 19th-century palace is surrounded by a lush centuries-old garden dotted with cypresses, magnolias, palms, cedars, holm oaks and many other lush tall trees.
Facing northwest onto a white fountain adorned with statues, the main entrance of the stately home is preceded by a porticoed avant-corps. Divided by Ionic columns and rusticated pillars, the latter supports on the piano nobile a terrace bordered by a balustrade.
The meticulous restoration of the complex has restored luster to the pictorial decorations that adorn its interiors, particularly in the bright hall on the piano nobile.
The barchessa of Villa Giovannina is now the seat of the municipal library.
Chiesa vecchia di Fontane
Located at Via Fontane, 116, 31020 Lancenigo (TV), the 16th-century church of Fontane is one of the oldest buildings in the Villorba area.
Vertically tripartite by four Ionic pilasters, the double-pitched facade of the place of worship is adorned with a blind quatrefoil rose window that stands above the central door.
Completing the vertical development of the structure are the architrave, the frieze and the triangular pediment.
Surmounted by a wooden truss ceiling, the single nave of the church is embellished with fascinating wooden works, from the centuries-old pulpit to the sculptures of Saints Peter and Paul to the colorful statue of the Madonna, as well as splendid fragments of medieval frescoes.
