Oasi Vallona
The lush green lung extends corresponding to the small house of the Alpini group in the area behind the parish church. Enclosed by the grassy banks of a watercourse that splits at this point, the natural park is crossed by white paths that delve into the lush tree vegetation of willows, cypress poplars, maples, and lindens.
The pleasant green area is part of a fascinating nature trail that crosses the municipalities of Campodarsego, San Giorgio delle Pertiche, Villa del Conte and Massanzago, Piombino Dese and Trebaseleghe, winding through the rural landscape of the boundless plain of the high Padova area, dotted with charming rural villages, touched by cold springs, covered by dense forest formations, punctuated by lush vineyards and cornfields.

The church of Saints Joseph and Juliana
Located at Via Roma, 77, the parish church is one of the most striking architectural works of the municipality together with the neo-Gothic church of Saint Euphemia Virgin and Martyr, located at Via Martiri della Libertà, 62.
Resting on high bases, four mighty Corinthian half-columns divide the facade into three sectors. The massive wooden portal is surmounted by a curved tympanum adorned with statues of two angels with outstretched wings, above which opens a niche containing a sculpture of the Madonna and Child. On the sides of the door there are two other niches with statues of two saints.
Above the stringcourse stand three openings, the lateral ones circular in shape, the middle one distinguished by a sinuous curvilinear profile. To accentuate the verticality of the building, five sculptures crown the top of the pediment.
Framed by a row of pale olive trees arranged along the banks of a clear canal, the place of worship is flanked by a soaring bell tower culminating in an elegant metal spire resting on an octagonal drum.
If you are wondering what to do in Villa del Conte, the parish church houses an extraordinary heritage of paintings and sculptures, little known but of inestimable value.
During the Christmas season, the austere and imposing rooms of the church host an elaborate mechanical nativity scene full of charming statuettes that animate splendid miniature urban scenarios. In addition to the nativity cave, the nativity scene illustrates moments of daily life of shepherds and artisans in the city of Bethlehem. Particularly evocative is the scene in which Saint John the Baptist baptizes Jesus with the waters of the Jordan River.
