The event – sold out for some months now – is being multiplied by three this year: from 29 to 31 August, from 1 to 3 September, and from 8 to 10 September, and is dedicated to children and teenagers aged 6 to 13
Thiene (Vicenza), 27 August 2023 – “If you have received your admission letter, you can enter and take part in the Hat Ceremony”… And so Castello di Thiene, a 15th-century residence in the province of Vicenza, is preparing to transform into the most famous School of Magic ever; fans of the world’s most famous little wizard will arrive from all over Italy – fully dressed up and carrying their official magic wand – to experience an extraordinary three-day, two-night adventure; this is the Italian School of Magic: from 29 to 31 August, from 1 to 3 September, and from 8 to 10 September, young wizards will bring color to the town of Thiene.
For the occasion, the halls and rooms of Castello di Thiene will be set up with themed scenography, capable of catapulting young guests into a magical and fantastical world among spell lessons, potion school, mysteries to solve, fantastic creatures to track down, and more-than-magical performances: all marked by extraordinary realism.
The event has been sold out for months: «The boys and girls who will take part – says Francesca di Thiene, co-owner of the Castle – after receiving the admission letter, will be welcomed into the castle, divided into the 4 Houses, and will have the chance to spend three days inside a real school of magic; those who have already attended the “School” in previous years will be able to continue their studies and earn the title of apprentice wizard. It is an event that enjoys extraordinary success, year after year; the places always sell out in just a few days».
For the young guests of the event, there will be an entertainment program run by professional actors, performers, and set designers: «Our goal – explains the Scuola di Magia Italiana team – is to transport participants to another world, a world populated by wizards and witches and permeated by magic. Every participant and every member of staff will wear an appropriate costume and play a character 24 hours a day without ever breaking character».
