When will the centenary celebrations of the Alpini take place?
Tomorrow, October 31, 2021, the celebration of the one hundred years since the founding of the A.N.A. section of Treviso continues.
Where will the black feather celebrations be held?
The festivities will resume on Sunday, October 31 at 8:00 am with the parade from the Sectional Headquarters in San Pelajo to Piazza Duomo in the heart of the historic center of Treviso.
In Piazza Duomo, the holy Mass will be celebrated by the bishop of the Diocese of Treviso, Michele Tomasi.
Following that, as indicated in the event poster, the parade of the black feathers will begin along the streets of Treviso’s center until reaching Piazza della Vittoria.
After the flag-raising ceremony to honor the fallen, a commemorative stele will be placed in Piazza Borsa.
To ensure maximum safety, the historic center will be completely closed to traffic.
Where to park?
For those wishing to attend the event, it is recommended to park in the multi-story parking lot of the Cittadella delle Istituzioni complex, Park Pattinodromo, Lungo Mura Porta S. Tomaso, Park Foro Boario, Park Dal Negro, Cavalcavia stazione, Metropark Stazione, Miani Park, Condominio Appiani.
