The refined historic building is currently home to the kindergarten and the Institute of the Sisters Teachers of Saint Dorothy, a retirement community for elderly nuns.
The villa has a central body flanked by two lower bodies. The main body stands out for the large dormer window with refined lateral scrolls and ending with a tympanum surmounted by three pinnacles.
In addition to the barchessa (a typical service building of Venetian villas used as a store and work area), the property had a splendid chapel in honor of San Luigi Gonzaga, a Jesuit proclaimed saint by Papa Benedetto XIII in 1726.

A few steps from Villa Vitturi, immersed in a large wooded area, Villa Sugana Saltore Caccianiga is a magnificent noble residence accessible via a long tree-lined avenue.
The square-plan villa develops over three floors and is divided vertically into three sections, the central one features a dormer window culminating in a tympanum. Over the years, service buildings were added alongside and behind the main building.
Antonio Caccianiga
(Treviso, 1823; Maserada sul Piave, 1909). An illustrious journalist, prolific novelist, and Italian politician, Antonio Caccianiga was co-founder in 1848 of the humorous magazine Lo spirito folletto, as well as author of theatrical and musical articles.
Returning to his homeland from France in the mid-19th century, Antonio Caccianiga retired to this sumptuous villa on the border between Maserada sul Piave and Carbonera. A firm opponent of Austrian interference in Italy, Caccianiga was also a deputy and, following Austria’s defeat, was elected mayor (podestà) of Treviso.
