What to see in Gorgo al Monticano?
Chiesa dei Santi Ippolito e Cassiano
Located at Via Postumia Centro, 44, 31040, the parish of Gorgo al Monticano is an ancient and well-preserved example of ecclesiastical architecture built where the previous medieval church once stood.
The white church dating back to the Renaissance period is rhythmically articulated on the outside by pilasters connected by hanging arches. The facade is gabled, characterized by a sober but elegant style, punctuated by two tall windows with rounded arches, separated by the large wooden entrance door and surmounted by the tympanum bearing the symbol of the cross in the center.
Bosco di Cavalier
With an area of almost ten hectares, the Bosco di Cavalier represents the most significant natural destination in the municipality of Gorgo al Monticano. The serene mixed plain forest is characterized by remarkable tree biodiversity, including spectacular varieties of English oaks, hornbeams, alders, maples, poplars, and flowering ashes. Growing on a perched water table, the forest is the ideal habitat for numerous amphibian species, among which the striking Italian tree frog and the smooth newt are noteworthy, as well as striking bird specimens like the great spotted woodpecker and the charming spotted flycatcher (Muscicapa striata).
The lush undergrowth presents vivid species such as the white wood sorrel, the pinkish-flowered spurge laurel, and the wild spikenard, or European wild ginger, dark purple in color and with a fine aroma.
Parco del Monticano

Located less than a kilometer from the majestic Villa Foscarini Cornaro, the small wooded oasis rises between the urban center of the town and the namesake river originating from Monte Piai (Vittorio Veneto), at the point where the GiraMonticano unfolds, a cycle-pedestrian itinerary that starts from Conegliano and leads to Motta di Livenza.
Villa Revedin
The grand villa located at Via Palazzi, 4, 31040 Gorgo al Monticano (TV) is a true jewel of Renaissance architecture and a point of reference in the cultural, historical, and artistic landscape of the municipality of Gorgo al Monticano.
Immersed in the splendid scenery of the Venetian countryside, the white sixteenth-century palace is surrounded by a wonderful century-old Italian garden of twenty thousand square meters, consisting of a rich tree and flower biodiversity that includes majestic lindens, beeches, Cedars of Lebanon, and centennial zelkovas of impressive beauty.
The wonderful historic building, internally decorated with priceless Venetian frescoes, is now one of the most prestigious luxury hotels and restaurants, and represents the perfect setting for organizing weddings, receptions, conferences, and unforgettable exclusive events.
