Bike ride in Revine Lago
If you are passionate about cycling and nature, the recommended cycle and pedestrian path winds along the shores of Lago di Lago and Lago di Santa Maria.
Starting from the parking lot on Via Carpenè, turn left towards Lago di Lago and continue on the paved road for about 200 meters. Flanked by ancient stone houses, the road narrows until it reaches a fork. Turn right towards the equipped green area overlooking the lake. Continue left and take a white dirt path flanked by a wooden fence.
The path will take you through the pleasant tree vegetation of willows and tall poplars arranged in regular rows that refresh the visitor with their shade, allowing glimpses between their thick green branches of suggestive panoramic views of the large expanse of blue water.
Once you reach the pier, you can admire the serene scenery of Lago di Lago, from whose muddy bottom rise rushes and cattails and from whose cold and silent surface emerge splendid water lilies that slowly follow the gentle movements of currents and ripples caused by the dart of a pike or the landing of an insect. The panoramic view also offers a glimpse of a lovely stilt hut that is part of the Livelet archaeological park, which we will talk about shortly.
The itinerary runs along grassy expanses that fade into cool rocky shores until it plunges into shady wooded areas where wooden observation points have been built to observe the lake flora and fauna from a comfortable and privileged position.
After crossing the canal that connects the two basins, you reach Lake Santa Maria. The path opens onto the vast green area of Revine Lago where there is a small football pitch flanked by a bar and a paid parking lot.
The path crosses tall and lush canopies and continues alongside wooden piers and evocative natural oases such as the Parco Va’ dee Femene. Venture into the picturesque locality of Colmaggiore di sotto, where colorful illustrations adorn the exterior walls of various houses, telling with effective simplicity scenes of peasant life in charming rural settings.
Continue to the locality of Colmaggiore di sotto and rejoin the nature trail via a side road that flanks lush vineyards (coordinates 45.977807649616764, 12.220967176228829). Continue along the path until you reach a bridge over a narrow canal, after which you can rejoin Via Canapè and return to the starting point.

Walk to Pian de le Femene
The suggested route starts from the parking lot on Via Sottocroda (45.977807649616764, 12.220967176228829). Turn left towards the small church of San Biagio at Via Sottocroda 6 and continue for 500 meters until you find, on your left, Via degli Alpini. At the beginning of the street, immersed in the thick forest vegetation, you will find a fork. Keep right following the paved road and proceed up the hill until you find another fork with a sign (La Posa: 8 ; Rospes: 5.5).
Turn left and continue along the steep path that winds through the wooded area with a challenging slope. Follow the numerous hairpin bends on Via degli Alpini until you reach the locality La Posa, a plateau from which you can see a splendid view of Lago San Giorgio and Lago di Santa Maria.
Surrounded by characteristic mountain huts and dairies, La Posa is a place much loved by paragliding enthusiasts. Following the signs, proceed west for about 2.5 km until you reach Pian de le Femene, at about 1125 meters above sea level. At the Pian de le Femene alpine refuge you can admire, in addition to the extraordinary panoramic views, a monument dedicated to the women who fought as partisans during the resistance.

Visit the Livelet educational archaeological park

Since 2009, management has been entrusted by agreement to the UNPLI Treviso Provincial Committee, in collaboration with the Municipality of Revine Lago and the Pro Loco Consortium Quartier del Piave. Since 2018 it has been part of the network of Educational Archaeological Parks of the Alta Marca Trevigiana.
Thanks to fruitful teamwork and active collaborations, in 2023 the Park exceeded 16,000 visitors.
The stilt houses that can be visited today have been reconstructed thanks to information obtained from excavation campaigns in the 80s and 90s at the Colmaggiore site, but also from other ‘Prehistoric pile-dwelling sites of the Alps’, inscribed in 2011 on the UNESCO World Heritage List, including the Trentino site of Fiavè (TN). Excavations conducted by the University of Ferrara since 2019 will provide in the future new useful information to renovate them, based on the most recent discoveries, to give as faithful an idea as possible of daily life on the shores of the lakes between the Neolithic and the Bronze Age.
Visit the Church of San Matteo Apostolo
Located in Piazzale della Chiesa 1, the majestic municipal parish church is one of the most important religious, historical and cultural monuments in the territory of Revine Lago, thanks to its ancient origins, the elegance of its structure and the richness of the decorative apparatus that adorns its interior spaces, divided into three bright naves.
Following the devastations of the Great War, the medieval parish church underwent a careful process of restructuring and restoration that restored to its ancient splendor the pictorial works that fortunately survived earthquakes and bombings.
The exposed brick façade features a splendid rose window decorated with colorful glass panes that, penetrated by sunlight, irradiate the interior of the church with evocative polychrome effects.
Among the numerous canvases that adorn the white walls of the temple stands out the 18th-century altarpiece depicting Madonna and Child in glory between Saints Matthew and Matthias, created by the artist from Cison Egidio Dall’Oglio.
