The barley festival
The 2024 edition of the barley festival took place from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 July at the historic brewery in Pedavena.
As every year, during this festive event the historic heart of Pedavena comes alive with colorful parades of drummers and flag-wavers in traditional dress, orchestra concerts and vintage tractor gatherings. The vast tree-lined park of the largest brewery in Italy provides the perfect setting for peaceful strolls, sipping a mug of beer and visiting the classic Pedavena market stalls.
The highlight of the event is the traditional opening of the barrel, a symbol of gratitude toward all the workers involved in the production of Pedavena beer as well as an occasion to welcome the future with optimism.
If you are wondering what to do in Pedavena, the barley festival is a must-see event to enjoy the warm season with live music, tempting local food specialties and, of course, top-quality beer specialties.
