The gable roof (which in architectural jargon indicates the sloping shape of the roof) From the division of the rooms it can be seen that the lower floor probably had an agricultural function, while the upper floor of the dwelling was intended for the manor house.
The most unique element of the villa is the delicate and precious fresco decoration from which emerges the coat of arms in Istrian stone (limestone rock from the homonymous Adriatic peninsula whose use was common in Roman times in the 1st century AD) with the monogram of St. Bernardino (showing a radiant sun, with the letters IHS in the center (“Iesus Hominum Salvator”).
