Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Located at Via della Chiesa, 9, 31036 Ospedaletto (TV) the church has a pink salient facade marked by two pairs of white pilasters which, in addition to supporting the architrave and the pediment, frame the wooden door and the large rose window that stands out at the center of the facade.
Completing the vertical development of the structure are statues of saints placed at the vertices of the pediment.
In addition to the church’s pictorial heritage, such as the Purification (perhaps by Tiepolo) and a gold-plated apparatus for the Quarantore (adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for forty consecutive hours), the church houses a valuable pipe organ.
Archpriest Church of Istrana
The centuries-old church dedicated to San Giovanni Battista has a single nave decorated with delicate stuccoes and frescoes, as well as a refined altarpiece depicting the Martyrdom of San Sebastiano.
Ca’ Celsi
Conceived and built as a residence for the noble Celsi family in the 18th century, the sumptuous architectural complex that can be admired today is the result of careful restoration work and constitutes a cultural landmark for the entire community of Istrana.
