Villa Fracanzan Piovene
Located at Via S. Francesco, 2, Villa Fracanzan Piovene is one of the most significant cultural landmarks of the municipality.
Built in the first decade of the 18th century according to the design of the architect Francesco Muttoni, the stately residence is harmoniously set in a lush tree-lined park of forty hectares surrounded by the breathtaking landscape of the Berici hills, cloaked in woods, crossed by lush vineyards and dotted with silvery olive trees.
Characterized by a rusticated base, the southern facade of the villa is dominated in the center by a projecting body in which three arched entrances open on the ground floor, above which stands a monumental pronaos rhythmically marked by four composite columns.
To complete the vertical development of the villa, an elegant structure rises at the top of the manor house in a median position. Capped by a broken pediment, this crowning element features, on the southern side, four pilasters framing three windows, the central one arched.
