Where is Creazzo located?
The municipality of Creazzo borders to the north with Monteviale, to the south with Altavilla Vicentina, to the east with Vicenza, to the west with Sovizzo.
Villa Fadinelli, Suppiej
Located at Via Pozzetto, 38, Villa Fadinelli, Suppiej is enveloped by a radiant and well-kept garden resting on a grassy slope from which tall cypresses, majestic cedars, maritime pines, privets, acacias, palms rise, and, overlooking Via Pozzetto at the edge of a wall covered in ivy, a splendid specimen of Sophora Japonica whose thick and brilliant canopy, spilling onto the street in the warm months like a green cascade of weighted fronds, gives way in autumn to the undulating shapes of thick twisted branches that taper into a dense tangle of bare branches.
Vertically divided into three sections, the main building is accessible via a staircase leading to three wide ashlar arches that define an elegant porticoed area, crowned by a triangular pediment topped with acroteria.
Facing an elaborate stone fountain surrounded by charming benches, Villa Fadinelli and the tree-lined park in which it is harmoniously set are one of the most significant cultural landmarks of the municipality, an ideal destination for those wondering what to do in Creazzo.
The Fiolaro Broccoli Festival
The Fiolaro Broccoli Festival takes place every year, with rare exceptions, in January. The 2020 edition was held from January 10 to 19.
During the event, from the vast heated spaces of the municipal sports center in Via Torino comes the festive din of hungry diners, young and old, ready to savor specialties that enhance the exquisite vegetable, rich in fiber and vitamins, which finds in the mild climate and fertile silty-sandy and calcareous soils of Creazzo the ideal conditions to grow luxuriantly and attest, with its delicate taste and health properties, how precious the biodiversity mosaic of the Veneto region is.
The numerous dishes based on Fiolaro broccoli that you can enjoy in the large restaurant area include fried fish, lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli, bruschetta, savory pies, risottos, and rolls, just to name a few of the recipes that will make your experience out of the ordinary, an authentic journey that combines the warmth and welcoming, carefree atmosphere of rural fairs of yesteryear with a sophisticated menu that alternates lip-smacking tasty courses with mouth-watering gourmet dishes.
If you are wondering what to do in Creazzo and want to start the new year with food and wine specialties in the pleasant setting of the charming rural municipality bordering Vicenza, attending the Fiolaro Broccoli Festival might be just right for you!

Retrone Riverside
An ideal destination for those looking for a quiet spot surrounded by greenery for light physical activity, the riverside is a pleasant path that follows the grassy banks of the icy Retrone river, straddling the urban landscape of the town and the endless countryside crisscrossed by lush hedges.
To access the route, you can leave your car in Via Torino near the municipal sports center. Alternatively, you can park in Via Retrone (45.525520220593954, 11.489192939012442). Cross the small bridge, turn right, and follow the white cycle-pedestrian path leaving the playground and soccer field to your left. Cross the pedestrian crossing, continue along the path next to the mini-golf and proceed until you reach the dog exercise area. The riverside winds through the pleasant natural scenery until it reaches Via dell’Industria.
Piazza Roma and Palazzo del Colle
A charming location nestled in the heart of Creazzo, Piazza Roma is enclosed to the southwest by the solemn bulk of the church of Sant’Antonio, to the northeast by Palazzo del Colle, a delightful three-story Liberty-style building incorporating a soaring quadrangular tower. An element of particular value is the refined three-light window, surmounted by a noble coat of arms, which opens above the wooden door.
What makes Piazza Roma one of the most appreciated places in the municipality from a tourist perspective is the suggestive panoramic viewpoint, punctuated by tall plane trees, from which you can enjoy a wide-ranging view of the plain dotted with houses, apartment buildings, and palaces, tiny from this perspective, and clusters of tree vegetation stretching to the sinuous slopes on the horizon.
