Rovolon (Padova), 24 September 2023 – The event “La Pigiatura – A journey into the world of grapes” returns to the Euganean Hills, at the charming Parco Frassanelle.
Adults and children alike are invited to take part in a day of events that will recreate the atmosphere of the grape harvest. Immersed in country life, first the grapes will be picked directly from the vine, then everyone will take off their boots and step barefoot into the vats, where the crushed grapes will release the intoxicating scent of must into the air.
The activities are divided into two parts: in the morning, starting at 11 a.m., the secrets of rural life will be revealed (along with tips for making delicious desserts with fresh grapes); in the afternoon, from 2:30 p.m. until sunset, the harvest and pressing will begin.
Throughout the day, the refreshment area and wine tastings will be open (in collaboration with the agricultural company “Valle Madonnina” and the wine estate “Al Contadin”), with the possibility of booking a table (up to 8 people, cost €10) for the whole day when purchasing tickets online.
In addition, it is possible to book a guided tour of the villa, the caves and the park (times: 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) either via Whatsapp (+39 331 4249860), by email (info@frassanelle.it) or to relax on your own in the 70 hectares of greenery where picnics are freely allowed.
Dogs, kept on a leash at all times, are welcome. In the areas where their access is not allowed (inside the villa and caves), there is a supervised garden, watched over by the staff, where they can be left,
