At Villaggio San Francesco, children become Sentinelle del Mare, the Confcommercio Federalberghi project with the University of Bologna comes to a close today
Caorle, 21 June 2024 – The Sentinelle del Mare have arrived in Caorle. In particular at Villaggio San Francesco, the project promoted by Confcommercio Federalberghi Caorle with the University of Bologna welcomed a biologist for a moment of interaction with the young guests at the village. Between fun activities and some explanations about life at sea, the children were all introduced to the important activity of Sentinelle del Mare. The project ends today, 21 June, after three weeks of work along the entire coastline of Caorle.
“This is a very beautiful project – explains Ilenia Cherubin, Sales & Marketing Director of Bi-Holiday – that we host with pleasure. Without a doubt, Confcommercio’s sensitivity to these issues finds us prepared. We are in fact working on a new village and holiday project that is increasingly attentive to the needs of the environment around us. We, as operators, are the first who must be Sentinelle of our sea”.
“We are truly satisfied with how our stop of the ‘Sentinelle del Mare’ project has developed over these weeks” – commented the President of Federalberghi Caorle, Nazzareno Cosmo – Sustainability remains a topic very close to Caorle’s tourism entrepreneurs, and the success of this event proves it. The active participation of the community, from the youngest students to the members of Anmi, from fishermen to restaurateurs, hoteliers and beach kiosk owners, and the Villaggio San Francesco, clearly shows how the fight to protect the sea and the environment is a shared commitment”.
