Municipality of Roncade in the Province of Treviso
Made fertile by the rich hydrographic system made up of the rivers Sile, Musestre, Vallio and Meolo, the territory of the municipality of Roncade is characterized, in correspondence with the river environments, by a flourishing faunal and plant biodiversity that can be explored through the various paths and cycle-pedestrian routes created by the municipal administration, always attentive to protecting and enhancing the quality of the environment, water and air through constant and meticulous checks.

Musestre and surroundings
The cycle-pedestrian route that runs alongside the river of the same name for 20 km represents a unique naturalistic itinerary, ready to reveal, through the numerous stages that mark its path, the cultural and scenic beauty that characterizes the territory of the municipality.
Among the buildings of greatest artistic and historical value are the Oratorio della Madonna della Salute dating back to the 19th century and the country villa of Count Francesco Gyulai, owner of various properties in Treviso where he had settled to start an agricultural business, after having fought in the service of the Slovak army in Russia and Crimea. Crossing the path that passes through the hamlet of Ca’ Tron, there is a series of ruined rural buildings located near a splendid pond surrounded by majestic ancient trees.
Villa Giustinian, Ciani Bassetti
Restored to its former glory following important restoration works, the castle of Roncade stands at Via Roma, 141. The regal architectural complex is preceded by the imposing wall structure bounded by high towers. The massive defensive enclosure contains a vast and elegant garden adorned with thirty centuries-old statues.
The noble estate organizes guided tours during which you can admire the splendor of the castle and taste the food and wine excellence produced on site.
