The recommended bike ride starts from the parking lot in Piazza Indipendenza in front of the town hall. You are facing the town hall of Torre di Mosto, a characteristic building on two floors with a beautiful mullioned window on the first floor with a stone balustrade. In the center of the facade stands the quadrangular tower crowned by a cornice supported by corbels and decorated with a quatrefoil motif along the parapet. Other prominent features are the large clock with Roman and Arabic numerals and the bell at the top of the tower.
Stele in honor of the fallen
In front of the town hall entrance, surrounded by dark cypresses, lindens and tall cedars, stands a stele in honor of the fallen of World War I with a sculpture of an eagle with outstretched wings in the center.
Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini
Leave the building facade and the solemn obelisk to your left, go from Piazza Indipendenza to Via II Giugno and follow the road (along which you will find a risto-pub and a bar) until you reach Piazzetta Giuseppe Mazzini on your right. From the paved urban area, bordered by arcades and colorful houses, you can admire the white bulk of the parish church of Torre di Mosto framed to the northeast by the grassy banks of the Livenza, to the southwest by the cobbled surface of Piazza della Chiesa.
Church of Torre di Mosto
The splendid place of worship features a projecting façade divided into three parts by four Corinthian pilasters supporting the architrave, the frieze and the frescoed triangular pediment.
Characterized by a sober and elegant style, the neoclassical church is accessible through a massive wooden door marked by quadrangular panels above which stands out a pictorial decoration depicting the figure of San Martino, who, on a white steed, is caught in the act of offering part of his cloak to a suffering man in the grip of frostbite.
Path along the Livenza embankment
Leave the church facade behind you, from Piazza della Chiesa turn right into Piazza Mazzini, then turn right again into Via II Giugno and proceed towards the river bend. Climbing the slope that leads to the top of the embankment you will reach the ancient landing place of Passo di Torre, from which you can enjoy a wide view of the pleasant river and rural landscape of Torre di Mosto and San Stino di Livenza.

If there are no-entry signs, follow Via Bandiera e Moro and at the stop sign keep right along Via XXV Aprile to the roundabout, then turn left, continue for 70 meters and turn right. Go behind the town hall and, at the intersection with Via Fratelli Cairoli, turn right.
