Church of San Martino Vescovo
Located at Piazza S. Martino, 13, 30030 Pianiga (VE), the Church of San Martino Vescovo stands out for its beautiful exposed brick structure. The double-pitched facade culminates in three pinnacles and is rhythmically articulated by pilasters connected by blind arches that follow the profile of the cornice.
Another architectural element of value is the porch with a cross vault supported by Corinthian columns and surmounted by a triangular pediment.
Illuminated inside by tall single-lancet windows and the rose window that stands out in the center of the facade, the millenary place of worship houses an invaluable pictorial apparatus of frescoes and centuries-old altarpieces.
