The gathering of agricultural and forestry vehicles
One of the most beloved and anticipated events in the municipality, the gathering of agricultural and forestry vehicles takes place every year between July and August. The 2022 edition was held on July 31.
The event kicks off with an aperitif in the main square of the village in front of the splendid church of Santa Maria Assunta. In addition to the parades of tractors, both vintage and modern, previous editions have included fun activities for children featuring large inflatable games, demonstrations by expert craftsmen capable of carving wood with chainsaws to create original sculptures, live music performances, and even helicopter rides to enjoy sweeping views of the Sette Comuni plateau.

The parish of Santa Maria Assunta
Standing in the historic heart of the village, the white church is distinguished by an elegant gabled façade vertically divided into three parts by four pilasters connected by hanging arches that follow the profile of the rooflines.
Both built with blocks of white granite, the imposing Romanesque place of worship and the square-based bell tower rising beside it recall the architecture of the enchanted city of Minas Tirith, born from the imagination of the British author and linguist J. R. R. Tolkien.
Accessible through an elegant splayed portal surmounted by a golden lunette with a sacred depiction, the interior of the church is divided into three naves marked by wide round arches in white and red marble, supported by columns.
Surmounted by a wooden coffered ceiling, the central hall is lit by single-lancet windows and the mullioned window above the entrance portal. The presbytery is embellished with a pictorial representation of the Assumption of Mary into heaven.
In front of the figure of the Madonna, immersed in the luminous celestial vault and flanked by cherubs and angels in prayer, stands an elaborate wooden crucifix.

Monte Badenecche
Located less than 15 km from the center of Asiago, the municipality of Foza is surrounded by the majestic wooded peaks of Monte Lisser to the northeast, Castelgonberto, Monte Fior and Monte Ortigara to the northwest, Monte Pubel to the south, whose summit overlooks the winding path of the Calà del Sasso, and Col Carpenedi to the southwest.
As indicated by several war bulletins from November and December 1917, Monte Badenecche was the scene of fierce clashes between the Royal Italian Army and Austro-Hungarian troops.
After razing Asiago to the ground and conquering the peaks of Monte Fior and Monte Miela, the goal of General Franz Conrad von Hötzendorf was to occupy the Melette of Foza and the Melette of Gallio. After relentless bombardments and bitter fighting, the Italian soldiers were forced to cede ground from the positions between Monte Tondarecar and Monte Badenecche.
