The asparagus festival
The asparagus festival takes place every spring in the hamlet of Conche. The 2023 edition took place from Friday 21 April to Monday 7 May at Via Vallona 83.
The long-awaited celebration passes down the ancient bond between human and nature, valorizing one of the most representative and genuine products of the area.
An ideal opportunity for foodies seeking the authentic flavors of Veneto cuisine, the event features a menu rich in exquisite asparagus-based recipes, from risottos to pies, from fresh gnocchi to tagliatelle, to name just a few!
In the spacious and comfortable dining areas you can savor sea and land specialties such as grilled ribs, chops and sausages sizzling with crispy french fries, stews and horse straeca (a thin cut of meat from the equine diaphragm, made even softer by the beating before cooking), beef cuts and appetizing baccalà alla vicentina, to be enjoyed with glasses of wine and cold mugs of beer.
The fair program includes vintage car exhibitions, inflatable bouncers, dance evenings, live music, and market exhibitions where you will find high-quality locally produced asparagus.
If you are wondering what to do in Codevigo, the Asparagus festival is a pleasant opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic and carefree atmosphere of a bygone fair in the serene setting of a pretty village framed by the courses of the Brenta and Bacchiglione rivers.
