The Church of San Benedetto Abate
The imposing structure stands out for its white double-pitched façade marked by four massive columns topped with Corinthian capitals partially embedded in the wall, on which stand the architrave and the dentilled pediment bearing a leaf motif in the center.
Internally embellished with marble altars, refined altarpieces, evocative sculptures of angels that seem animated with their own life, and spectacular frescoes of the Venetian school, the solemn neoclassical church is preceded by the sculptures placed in front of the entrance: Saint Paul on the left, recognizable by the sword at his side, and Saint Peter on the right, distinguishable by the symbol of the key.
Via Soranzo Park
Head south on Via Roma for 450 meters and turn right onto Via Ronchi. Continue on Via Ronchi for 230 meters and turn right onto Via dei Soranzo. At this point take the avenue that leads through the thick vegetation of Via Soranzo Park, a splendid garden crossed by a dirt path where you can shelter from the heat in the shade of the canopies of field maples, acacias, and lindens, to name just a few of the many varieties that dot the vast and silent green area.
Cross the park continuing north and exit at the parking lot of a home goods store (45.57244443366713, 12.107234976607836). Continue along the tree-lined lane until you reach Via Roma, then turn left and proceed for just over 100 meters to the intersection, after which cross the pedestrian crossing and turn left, then turn right onto Via San Benedetto.
Continue on Via San Benedetto for 200 meters and turn left, just before the bridge, onto the white lane that runs along the Dese river.
Separated from the placid watercourse by a wooden fence and punctuated by the long shadows of tall Lombardy poplars, the cycling route offers evocative natural views of the Venetian hinterland.
The Todori Mill
Follow the winding country lane that follows the meandering course of the river until you spot, on your right, the Todori Mill, an ancient mill complex rising two stories whose centuries-old structure provides a backdrop to the lush drooping branches of a weeping willow.
Set in an environmental context distinguished by vibrant plant and animal biodiversity, the mill represents one of the most significant locations in the municipality of Scorzè.
Cross the bridge on your right passing alongside the mill and continue for 260 meters on Via Canove flanked by the regular succession of numerous willows. At the intersection turn left and proceed for 1 km along the road immersed in the rural landscape dotted with modern farms and rustic farmhouses surrounded by cultivated fields and meadow areas whose vast expanse is interrupted by tall hedges.

At the intersection with Via Onaro turn right and proceed for 550 meters through the quiet cluster of houses where you will find a restaurant and a bar near the church of San Martino, preceded by the towering mass of the large brick bell tower with exposed brickwork.
Through the green of San Benedetto Park
After passing the cemetery turn right onto Via San Benedetto and continue until you find the entrance to San Benedetto Park, a huge green expanse dotted with hundreds of trees that create a pleasant environment characterized by a gentle pollution, ideal for those seeking refuge from pollution, traffic noise and wishing to exercise outdoors.
Along the course of the Dese river
After visiting the park, return to Via San Benedetto and continue until you reach the Dese river. Before the bridge (45.57663535265384, 12.106739501113722), turn left and take the cycling route that runs along the course of the river.
The route runs along the lively cluster of houses overlooking the cold spring-fed watercourse, the municipal stadium and sports centers. Cross Via Kennedy and continue to the next intersection with Via Treviso, then turn right and after about 80 meters turn left to resume the cycle and pedestrian path immersed in greenery.
At the playground keep left and cross a wooden bridge, then continue along the route for 1.2 km to the Hotel Antico Mulino, at Via Moglianese Scorzè, 37.
