The festival with the Alpini in Quinto di Treviso
When and where is the Alpini festival held?
The 2024 edition of the Alpini festival was held from May 31 to June 2 in correspondence with the group of celebrations of the hamlet of San Cassiano, at Via San Cassiano 49-51.
The traditional occasion reconciles the solemnity of the Holy Mass in San Cassiano with the jovial atmosphere of a lively celebration featuring inviting specialties that enhance the products and recipes of the territory.
If you wish to savor delicious fish and meat dishes to enjoy with local wine qualities, this event will certainly be for you!

Things to do in Quinto di Treviso: The Naturalistic Oasis of Cervara Mill
In addition to the medieval mill complex, still functioning, harmoniously inserted in this pristine environment, the Cervara Oasis includes meticulous reconstructions of ancient casoni, rudimentary dwellings where boats were once moored and repaired.
The Via dei Mulini
Starting from the parking lot in Via Monte Bianco, cross the road towards the Alpini square. Keep right along the white road that runs alongside the river, then cross the small bridge on your left that leads to a tree-lined avenue lapped by the Sile. After crossing the second bridge, turn right, proceed for about 60 meters and turn left immediately after the “La Rosta” parking lot. At this point follow the path that goes into a tree-lined park.
The path will lead you to a small wooden bridge that connects the banks of the Sile and enters again into the lush riparian vegetation.
Once you reach Via G. Ciardi, cross the wooden bridge and keep left following the pedestrian itinerary shaded by willows and cypresses. Continue on Via G. Ciardi for about 400 meters, then turn left and follow Via Rosta for about 150 meters. At this point keep left, cross the footbridge of Via Rosta and retrace the itinerary to return to the starting point.
