The Bosga Festival
The 2024 edition of the Bosga festival took place from Friday, May 24 to Sunday, June 9 in the urban center of Corbola.
The program of the village festival includes antique markets, orchestral music, dance evenings, vintage car rallies, and large dining areas where you can choose from tempting indulgent dishes to enjoy with cold pints of beer and local wines.

Bike Ride in Corbola
The starting point of the itinerary is the parking lot in Piazza Chiesa. Leave behind the majestic facade of the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena. At the intersection with Via Rosetta Pampanini, turn right and proceed west for almost 300 meters, then turn right onto Via Roma. Follow Via Roma for 280 meters through the urban center of Corbola, then turn left and follow Via Sant’Agostino, flanking the Corbola cemetery framed by a lush poplar grove.
Once you reach the top of the embankment, turn right and proceed for almost 12 km along the road that follows the winding course of the Po. Along the way, you can embrace with your gaze the extraordinary panorama of Italy’s longest river, from whose surface emerge green islets, shaped by the current, cloaked in trees and riparian shrubs.
To your right stretches the fertile plain of Polesine, dotted with rustic farmhouses surrounded by endless expanses of wheat and corn. The gaze sweeps from the dense vegetation of willows, poplars, elms, mulberries, hornbeams, and common reeds covering the riverbanks to the towering rows of cypress poplars crossing the sunny countryside of Rovigo.
Once you reach the provincial pier of Taglio di Po, keep right and descend the embankment, then keep left onto Via S. Basilio. Proceed south on Via San Basilio for just over 1 km, skirting the urban area of Taglio di Po, then turn right onto SP 46. To return to the starting point, follow the provincial road for 9.3 km through vast agricultural estates and characteristic renovated farmhouses.
At the roundabout, take the second exit and follow Via Rosetta Pampanini for 190 meters until you find, on your right, Piazza Chiesa.

The Pope’s Hut
How to Reach the Pope’s Hut?
Starting from Piazza Chiesa, leave the church facade behind and turn right onto Via Rosetta Pampanini. After about 300 meters, turn left, then immediately right onto Via Rubini and proceed for 300 meters. Keep right on the road leading to the top of the embankment. At this point, turn left onto Via del Commercio, where you will find the access road to the splendid natural area lapped by the Po.

Villa Agopian
Located on Via Roma (45.008626929902256, 12.07932972050214), the stately residence is framed by a pleasant tree-lined garden accessible via a winding gate adorned with graceful floral motifs.
An elegant double-flight staircase leads to the entrance of the building, which is spread over three levels. Noteworthy is the charming four-story turret incorporated into the building.
