Church of San Vitale Martire
At the intersection with Via Roma turn right and proceed for 190 meters until you reach on your right the church of San Vitale Martire, preceded by the towering mass of the white bell tower.
Characterized by a sober and elegant style, the projecting façade of the place of worship shows clear references to classicism, identifiable in the three Ionic pilasters supporting the pediment, the frieze adorned with a bas-relief motif depicting winged lions, and the dentilled triangular pediment partially hidden by the bell tower that towers attached to the front of the church.
The building receives sunlight through the wide single-lancet windows along the central nave, a circular opening in the center of the tympanum, and a graceful mullioned window on the left side of the façade.
Marked by pilasters and crossed by narrow openings along the shaft, the bell tower resting on a massive stone base has a large clock below the belfry. Completing the vertical development of the structure is the square-based spire culminating in a metal cross.
