Star of the Day of the Venetian Villas and of a magical Gala Evening

Villa Cariola opens its doors to lovers of good food for two exclusive events dedicated to the gastronomic excellence of the area: the prized black truffle of Lessinia.
On 20 October, the Villa, which is part of the Associazione delle Ville Venete, on the occasion of the Day of the Venetian Villas, offers the public an evening at its Belvedere Panoramic Restaurant. The restaurant, which welcomes guests on its terraces with panoramic views and in its elegant indoor rooms, is set in the unique backdrop of the hills of Lake Garda and intertwines the wonderful landscapes of Valpolicella. Its special location makes it the ideal venue for a romantic dinner, a business lunch or a pleasant evening with friends. On the evening of 20 October, guests will be able to enjoy à la carte dishes, in a menu centered on a delicious yet precious black diamond: the native black truffle of Lessinia. From 3 November, the Villa will close for its winter break, while the Restaurant will remain open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm, and from 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm.

Even more glamorous is the evening of 25 October. Villa Cariola offers the public an exclusive gala dinner, in the unique setting of a Venetian villa. Here, the charm of timeless elegance meets gastronomic excellence. The black truffle, known for its intense aromatic nuances, will be the star of a selection of refined and creative dishes. It is one of the most prized products of the Verona area, and at Villa Cariola it can be enjoyed, wrapped in the beauty of a luxurious, sophisticated and evocative atmosphere. The dinner will be a sensory journey to discover the black truffle, symbol of Lessinia, an area renowned for its culinary traditions and the quality of its products. Guests will have the opportunity to taste exclusive and creative dishes that best enhance the aromatic notes of this authentic treasure of the area. The Dinner is open to all lovers of high-quality cuisine and foodies. Places are limited, so advance booking is recommended.

On 25 October, the menu celebrates the triumph of the foliage and the arrival of autumn with a risotto with porcini mushrooms, accompanied by a velvety black truffle cream, which enhances the richness of the woods of the area. This is followed by squid ink ravioli filled with salmon, where the black truffle butter binds the dish in perfect harmony. To end the evening, the veal fillet tower in San Daniele ham, a dish of great elegance, made special by the pairing with field mushrooms and a truffle sauce. Finally, the semifreddo with red berries scented with lime, with pistachio crumble and citrus cream, brings to a triumphant close a dinner of great style and strong character.
