Queen Tribute Band October 2019: The Vipers
The tour of the VIPERS, the official Queen tribute band (which has received recognition from the official Queen website www.queenonline.com) includes five stops right here in Veneto in October, during which the immortal songs of the rock giants will be reproduced with extreme fidelity.
Needless to say, these concerts are aimed both at die-hard fans of the band and at all lovers of rock music (in its various forms: hard rock, glam rock, progressive, and psychedelic rock), a genre that Queen brilliantly reconciled in their songs with influences ranging from heavy metal to gospel, from blues rock to funk.
Attending this event is an opportunity not to be missed!
Recognized at a European Level!
Recognized at a European level and with over a thousand performances under their belt, the Vipers Queen Tribute Band honors the legendary British band by combining the use of suggestive and highly faithful costumes and sets with the skill and experience of its members:
Twenty years of vocal and musical training, from studying the piano to polyphonic choir, led Giuseppe Maggioni to become the frontman of the “Vipers” band in 1998, with whom he achieved first place in the EMERGENTI LIVE competition on TV Bergamo in 2001, while in 2014, thanks to his remarkable vocal abilities, he placed second in the prestigious television competition THE VOICE OF ITALY.
Giordano Bruno began studying classical guitar at a very young age with teacher Mauro Mancini, then focused on electric guitar from the age of 16, practicing alongside masters Pier Frugoli, Paolo Manzolini, and Nando Bonini—formative experiences that today allow him to reproduce the unforgettable and spectacular solos of the great Brian May.
Stefano Armati dedicated himself to studying electric bass since 1999, then attended the Cemm in Bussero (MI) https://www.cemmusica.com/, focusing on modern and Afro-American music with teacher Michelangelo Fiamma. These experiences are complemented by participation in rhythmic workshops, ensemble music, and ear training. Stefano Armati’s educational path includes studying double bass from 2007, participation in the Nuoro Jazz seminars https://www.entemusicalenuoro.it/, and private lessons with Kaveh Rastegar, bassist of Kneebody https://www.kneebody.com/.
Roberto Previtali began studying drums at the age of 12, dedicating himself to theory, solfeggio, and drum technique alongside teacher Alessandro Ruggeri, and continued his training with masters such as Sergio Pescara and Federico Paulovich. In 1999 he became a member of the Vipers, with whom he placed first in the Emergenti Live competition, and performed at the Rolling Stone in Milan in 2002.
