The majestic parish church, recognizable by its splendid salient facade with exposed bricks, features a single nave surmounted by a spectacular wooden ceiling shaped like an inverted hull. The elaborate false ceiling, although not having significant structural value, is one of the most evocative elements of the solemn place of worship, capable with its intricate pattern of capturing attention and fascinating the faithful and visitors.
The high altar, placed under a dome, is flanked by two minor altars dedicated to the Madonna and Saint Anthony, both surmounted by semi-domes.

The salient facade of the church, tripartite by four projecting pillars that emphasize its verticality, features below the upper cornice a band of hanging arches with ornamental value.

The majestic wooden door, surmounted by a large polychrome glass rose window, is accessible via the white narthex, a small gabled portico formed by a barrel vault supported by columns of the Corinthian order.
