Treviso has given birth to several illustrious personalities such as writers, poets, photographers and then VIPs like actors, singers and showmen, here are some of them.
Mauro Corona. Originally from Baselga di Piné and born in Erto, he is a mountaineer, sculptor and writer made famous especially by the legendary imitation by Maurizio Crozza.
Aldo Serena. Former Italian footballer, striker, he is now a commentator and sports presenter on Mediaset.
Cesare Togni. Also from Montebelluna, he was a circus performer of the famous Togni family. He was the first to perform a triple pirouette on the trapeze.
Red Canzian. Member of the Pooh, Red was born in Quinto di Treviso, a well-known singer who is still active.
Benetton. The Benetton family of entrepreneurs originates from the Treviso area.
Laura Efrikian. Very famous actress and TV presenter born right in Treviso.
Andrea Zanzotto. Italian poet and writer among the most incisive of the second half of the 20th century, born in Pieve di Soligo and died in Conegliano in 2011.
Giovanni Comisso. Born in Treviso in 1895, he was a writer, but also participated as a volunteer in the First World War as a convinced interventionist.
Anna Toscano. A woman from Treviso who lives in Venice, she is a writer, photographer and teacher, very busy with a thousand projects, she won the Premio Natura Donna Impresa in 2017.
Tolo Marton. Guitarist from Treviso whose real name is Vittorio, his style is defined as classic-rock, rich in blues, country, psychedelic rock influences, all to be listened to.
Ernesto Calzavara. From Treviso and a well-known poet with a degree in Law, he also practiced the profession of lawyer.
Alessandro Minelli. He is an Italian teacher, biologist and zoologist born in Treviso.
