Bordered by the canopies of plane trees, black poplars, willows, acacias and fruit trees such as the loquat, this public garden is an ideal spot for outdoor exercise in a pleasant environment a short distance from the center of Spinea.
Continue to the end of the route on Via Torcello, turn right and continue along Via Torcello for 400 meters to the intersection with Via Bruno Mion. At the intersection, turn left and continue for 230 meters along the road shaded by tall and majestic plane trees, then turn right and proceed for 260 meters to the roundabout. Take the third exit onto Via Garibaldi and continue for 140 meters, then turn right onto Via Michelangelo Buonarroti until you find the entrance to Parco Nuove Gemme on your left.

At the roundabout, take the first exit to reach the parish church of Santa Maria Bertilla, where the feast of Santa Bertilla takes place every September, a traditional celebration dedicated to Maria Bertilla Boscardin, a nun of the order of the Dorotheans of Vicenza who was beatified for the dedication, compassion and spirit of self-denial with which she cared for the sick, wounded and needy, especially during the First World War.
