Where and when does the Balloon Festival in Treviso take?
The spectacular event dedicated to majestic and colorful hot air balloons takes place every year at the Sant’Artemio Hippodrome in Villorba (TV) on August 31, 1, 8 and 9 September.
A spectacular fleet of brightly colored hot air balloons stands out in the bright sky of Treviso, offering an exciting event for both spectators and passengers who can admire the panorama of the city of Treviso and the breathtaking green landscape of the Marca Trevigiana on board the giant balloons.
The festival includes various activities ranging from free hot air balloon flights that last 45 minutes in a context of maximum safety thanks to the careful guidance of the crew and expert, professional pilots, to tethered flights lasting 5 minutes on board balloons anchored to the ground with special ropes.

The event also includes educational paths that will allow you to enter and explore the inside of the balloons, inside which various entertainers from the mosaic theater group will share curious and engaging stories related to the ancient history of the suggestive and enormous hot air balloons.
Other workshops will feature the little ones as the real protagonists of activities that will allow them to express their creativity and practice their manual skills in creating unique, imaginative, original and personalized model hot air balloons.
From 16:30 to 23:30 refreshment points will be available to eat and drink in company and relax during the intense and fun day.
Starting at 21:30 on August 31, the spectacular sidereal glow that stands out in the night sky will be crowned by the multicolored lights of the hot air balloons, whose ignition will be followed by musical accompaniments aimed at offering participants an unforgettable multi-sensory experience that will end with an exciting fireworks display.
