Where is the Codibugnolo Oasis located?
The Codibugnolo Oasis extends in the locality of Salettuol in Maserada sul Piave. The path starts a few steps from the monument in honor of the fallen of the Great War, near which there is a parking area along the bank of the Piave River.
Past the oratory of San Rocco in Via Salettuol and after crossing the underpass decorated with vibrant murals, continue until you reach the beginning of the nature trail.

The monument also honors the troops of the X army and the pontoon companies VI, XI, XVIII, XXXI who on October 27, 1918 crossed the bridges built over the course of the river sacred to the homeland and, after passing the Monticano, reached the Livenza. At the center of the memorial stands the monument dedicated to the VII British division, whose support helped repel the enemy’s offensive.

The small eighteenth-century building, rebuilt in the 1920s after the bombings of the Great War had razed it to the ground, features a simple and unadorned gabled facade with a central wooden door flanked by two tall single-lancet windows. Inside, the oratory is distinguished by an elaborate coffered ceiling and houses a valuable altarpiece depicting San Rocco.
